About

After many years working in the hospitality industry, we realised that there was a gap in the market – to create an event agency who focuses on relationships first and with a priority on supporting clients achieve their goals by delivering inspiring events.

Where did ZiaBia Begin?

With a wealth of experience, a passion for excellence and a zing of creativity, ZiaBia was established in 2012. Since then, our team has received enviable feedback on the wide range of events we’ve delivered.

With success comes growth. We continue to add to our team of passionate individuals, all bringing their unique insights, creativity and love of all things events to help us turn your vision into reality – reality in terms of first class events and just as importantly, in terms of your ultimate goals.

Our Culture

Our team are the core of what sets us apart from other agencies. Working in events comes with its own challenges and hurdles, balancing long hours and travel with quality downtime at home.

We are very aware that stress levels can be difficult to navigate so we have a framework in place to support our team.

We offer flexible working – whether that is working from home, part-time and compressed hours. We operate an open door policy as a problem shared is a problem halved.

To support this we champion collaborative working as we all bring complementary skills and experience to the table. It may be a cliché but every idea IS a good idea and if not used this time, then maybe the next!

There is also fun – we have fortnightly team meetings, often with a team dinner added on, and we have quarterly wellbeing incentives with a competitive element to encourage a healthy, positive culture and environment.

Our Mission Statement

Our vision, passion and determination inspires us to work hard and ZiaBia grows consistently as a result

Debbie Bell

Director

Some people may think that I’m a control freak, I disagree and say I have a passion for events! This includes a fanatical attention to detail and a passion and ability to organise things and find solutions for situations.

ZiaBia is a celebration of this – We are blessed to work with so many amazing clients and some of these are also now friends. I find inspiration in travel whether within the UK or further afield. The world is our oyster and we should make the most of all the opportunities we have to explore!

Vicky Gardner

Director

I have worked in the Events industry since 2005 and can honestly say I don’t think any two days are ever the same!! One of my passions in life is planning and this industry allows me to do this on a daily basis, while meeting a huge variety of different people – from all walks of life – all over the world.

I am inspired by people that constantly push boundaries and want to achieve more and that’s how I aspire ZiaBia to be – I want us to think big and form relationships with our clients and supplier partners that is so trusting it creates from it the best type of work ethic and results. What we do for our clients, and that feeling you get when you see all of the achievements from your hard work is very hard to beat.

Amelisa Wright

Client Services Director

With over 25 years of expertise in marketing, event management, and business development across the UK, EMEA, South Africa, and the USA, I am thrilled to join ZiaBia. My career began at Burson-Marsteller in London and The Rowland Company (Saatchi&Saatchi) in Hong Kong, where I honed my skills as a respected and experienced PR Account Director on fmcg, sport and corporate clients.

Throughout my career, I have excelled in offering both strategic advice and outstanding service delivery; understanding and articulating the strategic purpose of events, seamlessly integrating them into marketing and business development strategies honed through years of orchestrating large-scale events across diverse industries and audiences. I don’t think there is any other job role I would rather do that demands so many different skills and creativity combined with a continuous opportunity to learn.

I take pride in my extensive experience and protocol knowledge, having managed events at prestigious venues such as Clarence House, Buckingham Palace, and Downing Street. Beyond corporate arenas, my commitment to social change led me to advise and deliver HNW philanthropy strategies and event engagement programs for UK charities and INGOs.

Clients appreciate my dedicated, honest, and collaborative approach, where I strive to understand their mission and culture, working in partnership to achieve their objectives. Joining ZiaBia’s team of outstanding event specialists comes at an exciting time of growth and possibilities for this leading UK event agency and I am thrilled to be part of their next chapter.

When I’m not immersed in the world of events, you’ll find me exploring the countryside with my mischievous dachshund, Snoopy, enjoying time with my family and volunteering in the Youth Justice Service.

Paola Davis

Senior Project Manager

I have been working in the events industry for the past 15 years in various guises. In-house corporate and non-profit, freelancer and co-founding an events trade show. Working with ZiaBia gives me a fantastic opportunity to bring all this experience together.

I am a natural organiser (I love a list) but nothing beats the feeling of delivering an event that you have been working on. The client’s realisation that we have captured their vision and the delegate experience is what I really love about working in this industry.

ZiaBia works with a diverse range of clients which ensures every day is different. Be it a new challenge, a problem to solve, people to meet or new brief to respond to. I am delighted to have joined the team!

Rebecca Rose

Project Manager

I’m hugely excited to be joining ZiaBia as a project manager. I have a passion for planning, attention to detail, and love the satisfaction of seeing an event come together. My background is in marketing so much of my event experience is client side, running international events in both the IT industry and in the world of fashion as part of broader marketing campaigns.

Working with ZiaBia’s extensive list of diverse clients gives me a great opportunity to tackle a new challenge every day. I feel fortunate to be joining such a small dynamic team who’s values and ethics are so aligned with my own.

Laura Pannett

Project Manager

I have been working in the events industry now for nearly ten years now. I fell into working in events by volunteering on the Tour de France when it came to the UK. Since then, I have fallen in love with the varied and fast-paced environment which makes up the events industry.

I have been lucky enough to work in a variety of events roles, from sales, planning and operations, predominantly from the venue side.

Ashton Dorrington

Junior Project Manager

I have over 10 years experience working within the events industry from weddings and parties to large residential events, I absolutely love planning the perfect event and watching it come to life.

I worked within Marriott Hotels for several years working both within the 2 Bristol Marriott hotels as well as within the Southwest Sales Office where I looked after nine hotels within the region where I built up great knowledge and was also lucky enough to be involved in some key events. Working for Marriott hotels also gave me the drive to want to make sure that i was delivering exceptional customer service to all my customers which also meant I built some fantastic relationships along the way.

Kim Davison

Event Support Consultant

My background ranges from hospitality to theatre production to events, all of which require the attention to detail, focus and drive that the team at ZiaBia equally share.

After completing my degree in Theatre, Festival and Event Production, I went on to work as an Events Coordinator orchestrating large scale events in the Food, Sport and Music Festivals sectors. My role was heavily focused on procurement and building supplier and venue relationships which are a key focus at ZiaBia. I then went on to manage the opening of a new event space, hosting corporate days and private events centering around culinary experiences.

I am an avid list-maker and I love that my passion for planning and high-level execution of events is my day-to-day reality. The team have already provided such support and inspiration and really stay true to the company’s core values, and I love building on my skills and tackling new challenges with an exciting range of briefs and opportunities.

Vicki Williams

Venue and Relationships Manager

I have worked in events for over 30 years, having begun my events career within the automotive industry – working on everything from exhibitions, roadshows to product launches and beyond both in the UK and internationally and subsequently moved on to work within an events agency environment where additional experience was gained with many other industries including Pharma, Telecommunications, Banking/Finance and Insurance and more.

Over the years, I have been lucky enough to have flown on everything from Concorde to a tiny float plane and to date have travelled to more than 80 different countries, enjoying every second.

I have a passion for the events industry and enjoy every element of the detailed planning process, from the initial destination and venue research through to the delivery on site and all points in between.
My mantra has always been that the “devil is in the detail” and paying attention to the smallest details makes the difference between delivering the ordinary and the extraordinary.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking in the countryside with my two Weimaraners and working in my garden alongside volunteering in my local community.

MJ Pagett

Event Support Consultant

As an emotionally driven individual, creating a sparkle of joy and a twinkle in the eyes of clients drives my desire in creating unforgettable events.

I also share a background with my ZiaBia colleagues working in festivals, specifically preoperatively for Green Futures field at Glastonbury and getting involved with the bar & catering at 2000 Trees and various other UK Festivals. Getting involved and diving straight into tasks is a strong suit of mine. As an early bird, I like to set the day off right and move swiftly past obstacles to ensure the key actions run seamlessly.

The events spearheaded by ZiaBia since 2013 are truly inspired. We share core values that I really believe has made for such a dynamic and effective team. I am looking forward to conquering skills necessary for the events world with their support.

Post-event, you’ll find me recuperating by hiking with my hound or covering miles galloping through the countryside on horseback. A deep appreciation for the great outdoors is woven through the fabric of my being. There is nothing like mother nature to balance the mind!
